Hello all. Next tuesday (28th May) I’ll be launching my new album in London at Power Lunches. The album will be released by Function Records in the UK on 4th June and later in the year for EU on CD and LP.

We’re very excited to release for you the first single, taken from our as yet untitled new album.

You are now able to preorder our new 7” which is limited to 500 numbered copies.

The single will be released in 3 stages:

The first 100 are priced at £8 and come with a limited edition art print and badge.

Available to order now.

The next 400 are available two weeks later and are £5 but come without the special extra bits.

Both come with downloads.

Artwork is by Hannah McCague who was also the amazing artist for the cover of The Quiet Lamb

In response to this, did you know that every download on our shop is free/pay what you want? My average yearly personal income is currently around £6- 7,000. Using the lowest number of our listeners (3, 736 on here - though there’s 24,987 on LastFM). If people were to buy a download for £3, we could wipe existing debt caused by our first two records and tours and still have enough left over to rent a nice space and equipment to do the follow up to The Quiet Lamb that we’ve been trying to do these past few years.

My Squire Telecaster. Missing the pickguard and currently not working properly. It will need a slight rewire. Has been used extensively on most HNIC tours. Was famously smashed up on stage at King Tuts in Glasgow during our 2007 tour. Now obviously restored cosmetically and used since. Comes with a gig bag.

My electro-acoustic bass guitar. An unknown manufacturer. Doesn’t play too well as the neck is slightly warped. But could possibly be restored if someone wants to take the time.

Items can either be collected or I can organise recorded delivery on items to ensure that they get to you.

Oh. My. Word. Here’s a video by the astoundingly talented Robert Magpie (Ana Stefaniak) to the mid section of my ‘main’ band Her Name is Calla’s song ‘Dreamlands’ (basically me going ‘ahhhh’ a lot). It’s taken her four months of strife, toil, and hardship to do and in my opinion was worth every second. I’m incredibly humbled someone would take so much time and love over something we’ve written, and you should all check out her work and give her the credit it deserves! It’s far to easy to get lost in the fray of this internet thing, and she should certainly not be.x
