Our impromptu street team

As mentioned on our Twitter and Facebook page recently, we need your help.

Normally, I do a big mail out to promote our releases, where I send the music to newspapers, magazines, zines, websites, blogs, etc for review. But since I’ve been at home caring for my mum, we’ve not been able to contact as many people as we’d like.

The support that our fans provide is always huge, and above and beyond anything we’d ever expect - you’re our extended friends and family. And I know you’ll be amazing members of our impromptu street team!

I know not everyone will want to/be able to take part, but I’d be really heart-warmed if we could do this together :)

What you could do

  • If you own a blog/website/zine/etc, email press@hernameiscalla.com with your details, and we’ll send you Maw to review.
  • Hassle your friends even more than usual
  • Post our Bandcamp/videos to your FB page (see below)
  • Make fan videos for Youtube
  • Perform and record covers of the songs
  • Create a FUUUUU meme featuring us and make us famous on Reddit
  • Post a thread on your favourite forum/FB page
  • Conduct an interview with us (email press@hernameiscalla.com)
  • Play us on your radio show/podcast (contact us for the files!)
  • Change your FB profile picture to the cover art
  • Tweet about us (and follow us at @hernameiscalla)
  • Invite your friends to like our FB page
  • Send us your own personal reviews of Maw here and we’ll collect everyone’s thoughts together for a special post!
  • Anymore ideas? Post them on our FB page for all to see!

Helpful bits ‘n’ bobs

If you need anything else at all, please email me! I’ve got a lot of spare time and I’d love the chat.

Thanks so much for all of your help - we all love you.
